Biography
Mike Wright was born in San Antonio in 1962 and after only 18 months as an Assistant Professional at Shady Oaks Country Club he was appointed Head Professional at 23 years of age thanks in part to a recommendation by Ben Hogan.
He would go on to become one of the most respected professionals and teachers in the state for decades helping the careers of major champions on both the PGA and LPGA Tours
