Biography
Reynolds Smith, of Dallas, was a great amateur player in the 1930s. He competed against Gus Moreland, David Goldman, and Rufus King.
Smith was part of Captain Francis Ouimet’s 1938 Walker Cup team and won the Texas Amateur Championship three times:
1934 - Brook Hollow GC
1937 - River Oaks CC
1949 - Dallas CC
