Terry Jastrow was Executive Producer, Producer and/or Director of some of television’s most prestigious and important programs over the last 50 years. A partial list of Mr. Jastrow’s golf accomplishments including winning the 1994 Texas State Junior Golf Championship and attending the University of Houston on a golf scholarship.

He started working for ABC Sports at age 21 and became the youngest network television sports producer at age 23. He was a Producer/Director for ABC Sports for 22 years. Terry won seven Emmy Awards from his 17 overall nominations. He was nominated for the Director’s Guild of American Lifetime Achievement Award and produced or directed The Super Bowl, The Indy 500, The Kentucky Derby, numerous college football bowl games, and 68 of golf’s major championships (U.S. Opens, British Opens, PGA Championships). Jastrow produced or directed six Olympic Games and produced or directed six Olympic Opening and Closing ceremonies including the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He was the producer/director of the ABC Sports golf series for 22 years.

Jastrow was president of Jack Nicklaus Productions for 12 years and re-launched Shells Wonderful World of Golf, for which he coordinated and produced 48 matches. Terry also created the Wendy’s Three-Tour Challenge, Michael Douglas & Friends and Tommy Bahama Challenge, and was honored with the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen Award.
